Training for Education
Training for Education
- Do you want your staff to feel more confident having conversations about mental health?
- Do you want more knowledge about a specific area of mental health such as anxiety or self-harm so that you can better support pupils?
- Maybe you want a specific training for those in leadership or middle leadership roles so they can better support their teams’ mental health and wellbeing?
- Or even a session for all staff about how to prioritise and look after their own wellbeing?
Whatever the goals, I can offer a package of training tailored to your setting. I can also provide support with embedding training into practice within your organisation.
As well as relevant theory and information, all training packages will include ways to apply the learning back in the classroom. This ensures it isn’t another CPD session where the learning is lost! Content is evidence-based and can be tailored to the issues being faced by your staff. All training promotes the mental health of both pupils and staff as part of a whole setting approach to mental health.
I offer training both online and face-to-face and individual sessions can range from 90 minutes to a full day. I also offer packages of training with sessions delivered over an academic year with time for reflection and implementation between.
I also offer accredited training through Mental Health First Aid England’s products, Youth Connect 5 and YC5 in Transit training (for parents) and Skills for Life Curriculum Training.
To discuss your training needs, or the learning outcomes you’d like to achieve for your staff, please get in touch for an informal discussion.

Training for Schools
